Her mission as a yoga instructor is to inspire new "a-ha" moments for the seasoned practitioner and crush any misconceptions a new yoga student might have about yoga being "boring"!

Leone Curtis
Yoga has been a grounding part of Leone's life for over 20 years, and her practice has helped her grow stronger, more flexible, more fearless and more balanced both on and off the mat. Yoga inspires Leone to live each moment more mindfully.
Leone completed her 200 hour RYT under the excellent guidance of Sam and Erika at Maritime Yoga College. There is so much to know in the journey of yoga. She has had the opportunity, through further education courses, to deepen her awareness of Yin and Restorative Yoga, Subtle Yoga, Yoga for Healing and Recovery (She Recovers, Y12SR), Somatics Blend Yoga, Mindfulness Meditation and so on. She will always be a student of yoga and is deeply grateful for the loving wisdom her teachers have shared with her on the journey.
In Leone's classes, she loves to help others nurture the body, mind and soul connection with their yoga. Her hope is that her students will step off the mat feeling refreshed and renewed, nourished and balanced.

Karlie Fitzpatrick
Karlie embarked on her yoga teacher training in 2020 to deepen her personal practice. It was during this journey that she discovered her passion for guiding others, stepping out of her comfort zone, and fostering a supportive community.

Beyond the mat, Karlie finds joy being outside, eating good food, and spending quality time with her husband and their dog. She brings this love for nature and connection into her classes, creating an inviting space for students to explore their own practice and discover their true selves.

Jocelyn Martin
Jocelyn has been a movement enthusiast since the early days of her youth and found her yoga practice just prior to beginning post secondary education in kinesiology and pharmacy. Yoga became Jocelyn’s primary movement practice as it helped to increase strength, flexibility and agility while simultaneously contributing to her mental well-being.
Jocelyn completed her 200 hour YTT in 2019 following moving to the island from Saskatchewan through physical therapist Lara Heimann and the LYT Method. LYT is a modern method of movement that is based on the principles of physiology, kinesiology and neurology that aids in creating efficient movement patterns. After having her children, this core based movement practice has been ever more important in finding her centre both on and off the mat.
Jocelyn is happy and excited to find her home at The Space Movement Studio to teach this challenging and rewarding movement practice to others.
